Marianne Buttenschon gets things done in Assembly

Posted

I write to you in support of Marianne Buttenschon for the 119th Assembly district.

As your representative, she has proven to be very hard working and always puts the best interests of the 119th’s citizens first. Her legislative efforts prove this. In her two years in office she has been the prime sponsor of 45 pieces of legislation. These bills address the needs and conditions found in the 119th. They are about protecting veterans, improving the business climate, addressing the health and safety of residents, reducing governmental regulation and undue paperwork, protecting against the economic impact of COVID-19, strengthening the protection of law enforcement officers and other first responders, and many other items that affect the quality of life in the 119th.

I first met Marianne 12 years ago when we collaborated on a joint educational project that expanded the training available to first responders by offering online learning to fire and life safety educators across the state. I was struck by her commitment to education, the value she saw in the programs she championed, and the ease at which she got things done.  Please support Marianne on election day.
