Margaret E. ‘Peggy’ (Taylor) Fuller

Margaret E. “Peggy” Taylor Fuller, 75, of Rome, NY, died Sunday March 28, 2021, in University Hospital, after a brief illness. She was born July 15, 1945, in Rome, the daughter of Lester and Margaret Taylor. Peggy was educated in Rome. On July 20, 1963, she married the love of her life Terrance Fuller, in Rome.

Peggy worked at Grossman’s lumber for 17 years. After that she worked at Herb Philipson’s until she retired in 2013.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Church. She was predeceased by her husband Terry and son Michael. She is survived by two daughters and two sons-in-law, Theresa and Michael Clarke, Morrisville, Lisa and Tim Broadbent, Clinton; one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Denise Fuller, Buffalo; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Bonnie, and William and Patricia Taylor, all of Rome; 10 grandchildren, Cass, Brad, Joel, Jessica Matthew, Johnathan, Jayson, Tristan, Declan and Savannah. She was also predeceased by one sister, Pat Smith; one brother, Edward Taylor; and one grandson, Michael Clarke Jr.

Peggy loved to golf and play pitch. She was an avid reader and loved anything Stephen King. She had love for all animals, especially her four German Shepherd dogs she’s had over the years, and her current beloved German Shepherd Sadie and her birds. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren whenever she could, especially holidays. They kept her busy and loved spending time with Grandma.

She had many friends and made them easily wherever she went. She was kind and had a great sense humor that everyone loved. We will be lost without our beloved Mother as she was always there for us in every loving way.

She was very appreciative of her neighbors Ron and Winnie Perkosky and Joey and Korynn Whitteker who always helped her anyway they could.

A special thanks to University Hospital 9th floor Neuroscience team for taking such great care of our Mother.
