"Good-bye to you my trusted friend!

We've known each other since we were 9 or 10 (5 06 6)

Together we've climbed hills & trees,

learned of love & a, b c's

skinned our hearts and skinned our knees...

We had joy we had fun we had 'Seasons in the sun' but the wine and the song like the seasons have all gone...

All our lives we had fun we had 'Seasons in the sun'

but the stars we could reach were just starfish on the beach"

No one -not "family", not neighbors, acquaintances, - nobody knew me better, inside or outside than you! Everything we shared in my little "cubbyhole" in the back of my closet will ever know the stories we shared about each other. The fun times the bad times were special because noone knew the secrets that we shared! The hurt, the pain, the troubles the disappointments, the confusion.

Much of today's world doesn't understand the true meaning of friendship. What we laughed about, what we cried about, what we dreamed about had never left that little cubbyhole.

And because you took it with you, my precious friend, I know it never will!

I'll miss you forever.

I know God will let you rest peacefully! Cuz He knows when I get there we'll have alot of catchin' up to do!

So until that day, just know, I'll love you and miss you 4-ever!
