UTICA — One man was killed when his dirt bike collided with a motor vehicle in Utica late Sunday night, according to the Utica Police Department.

Police said the victim was found pinned beneath the car following the crash at Eagle and West streets at about 10 p.m. Sunday. The victim was rushed to St. Elizabeth Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The victim's identity was not immediately released pending notification of next of kin.

The nature of the crash remains under investigation, police said Monday morning.
