A 33-year-old man is facing a charge of felony contempt after law enforcers said he was found fighting with a woman at Pinti Field Friday morning.
Police said they were dispatched to the Sixth Street park at about 11:52 a.m. and found a man and woman fighting in the grass. Police said they observed as Justin G. Escue, no address available, threw the woman to the ground and repeatedly punched her in the face.
Police said the woman had an order of protection filed against Escue. He is charged with one count of felony first-degree contempt, police stated. He is scheduled to appear in City Court.
