Man damaged door during domestic dispute, faces mischief charge, Rome police say
ROME — A 40-year-old man has been charged after damaging a door during a domestic dispute in Rome Sunday morning, according to the Rome Police Department.
Police said Timothy W. Baker, of Rome, was in an argument with his wife at a residence on Floyd Avenue at about 11 a.m. Sunday. During the argument, police said Baker broke the bedroom door of its hinges.
Baker is charged with one count of fourth-degree mischief, police stated.
He is scheduled to appear in Rome City Court to answer the charge, according to the law enforcement officials.
