A domestic dispute two months ago has led to charges against a 28-year-old man, according to law enforcement officials.
Police said Stephen P. Lavine, of Expense Street, was involved in a domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend at her North Washington Street apartment shortly after midnight on Oct. 8. Police said Lavine entered the apartment, punched the woman in the face and threatened her with a glass bottle.
Lavine had fled the apartment by the time police arrived and they said a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Lavine was picked up on that warrant this week, and was charged with one count each of second-degree menacing and second-degree harassment, police stated. He is scheduled to appear in City Court.
