Man accused of threatens and vandalism in Rome, police say
ROME — A Rome man was picked up on two different outstanding warrants on Wednesday: one for threatening a woman and one for breaking a window, according to the Rome Police Department.
Police said Adrian J. Coonrod, 22, went to a residence in the 200 block of W. Bloomfield St. on July 8 and threatened a woman with a large knife. Coonrod left the scene and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Then, on July 10, police said Coonrod went back to the same residence and threw a car part through a window, breaking the window. Coonrod left again and another warrant was issued.
Coonrod was located and taken into custody on both warrants on Wednesday. Coonrod is charged with one count each of second-degree menacing and fourth-degree mischief, police stated.
He is scheduled to appear in Rome City Court.
