WHITESTOWN — A 65-year-old Utica man is accused of making repeated harassing telephone calls to 9-1-1, including threatening a dispatcher, according to law enforcement officials.
Sheriff’s deputies said Mark S. Kozien, of Utica, called the 9-1-1 Center multiple times for
no legitimate purpose.
Deputies said that in one of the harassing calls, Kozien threatened the life of one of the dispatchers.
Kozien was taken into custody on Tuesday on one count of second-degree aggravated harassment, a misdemeanor, deputies stated. Kozien was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Whitestown Court.
