TOWN OF VERONA — An Onondaga County man is accused of sending two people to the hospital during a domestic dispute Saturday afternoon, according to local law enforcement officials.
Sheriff’s deputies said George McDonald, 22, of Kirkville, was involved in a dispute with two other people at a residence on Route 365 shortly before 3 p.m.
When deputies responded to the reported, they said they found two people inside with head and facial injuries.
Both people were taken to a local hospital for treatment, the law enforcers said.
Deputies said the suspect, McDonald, fled the scene before law enforcers arrived.
Deputies said they were able to make contact with McDonald and he agreed to turn himself in.
McDonald is charged with two counts each of third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors, authorities said.
He is scheduled to appear in Town Court to answer the charges.
