Man accused of endangering young child


A 54-year-old Utica man is accused of having inappropriate contact with a young girl earlier this month.

Timothy G. Secor, of Utica, had inappropriate contact with a young girl in Utica on March 1, according to Inv. Frederick Bruzzese III of the county Child Advocacy Center (CAC). Secor was taken into custody on Wednesday.

Secor is charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, authorities said.

He was released on an appearance ticket to Utica City Court.

The victim has been offered counseling through the CAC.
