Magician to perform Thursday at Western Town Park

WESTERNVILLE — The Western Town Library will host a free program for all ages at Western Town Park, 9219 Main St., on Thursday July 22, at 6:30 p.m. Spectators are encouraged to bring a lawn chair/blanket and view a performance by illusionist Leon Etienne.

Etienne has performed for thousands of audiences locally, nationally and internationally. He has been named the Central New York Magician of the Year and Stage Magic Champion for the Magicians’ Alliance of Eastern States. He appeared on Season 2 of Penn & Teller: Fool Us, and successfully fooled Penn & Teller.

This event is being co-funded from donations received from North Country Insurance Company Foundation Trust and Stewart’s Shops.

The Western Town Library is a multipurpose organization dedicated to enriching the lives of community members by providing recreational and educational services. It is an affiliate of the Mid-York Library System which provides support, on-line services and shares the Mid-York catalog of books, magazines and DVDs.

The Western Town Library operating hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.
