Madison County schedules early voting in Wampsville

WAMPSVILLE — Early voting in Madison County will be available Oct. 26 through Nov. 3 at the county Board of Elections Office, 138 North Court St. in Wampsville, the county announced.

The office is located on the first floor of building 4, next to the Department of Motor Vehicles office.

Hours will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays Oct. 26 and 27 and Nov. 2 and 3, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28 and Thursday and Friday, Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 29 and 30.

Voters will vote on the same voting system used on Election Day. No votes will be tallied until the close of polls on election night.

In addition absentee application forms are available from the Madison County Board of Elections by calling 315-366-2231 and can be downloaded at www.madisoncounty.ny.gov/boe or obtained from the Board of Elections Office during office hours and early voting hours to fill out an absentee form and vote in person.

It is too late to register to vote for this general election.
