Madison County announces COVID-19 vaccine clinics

WAMPSVILLE — The Madison County Department of Health has announced the following upcoming COVID-19 vaccine clinic dates.  

18 years of age and older:

Wednesday, Aug. 4, noon to 4 p.m., County Health Department offices, 138 N. Court St.; (Moderna);

12 years of age and older:

Monday, Aug. 9, 9 a.m. to noon, County Health Department offices, 138 N. Court St.; (Pfizer);

Thursday, Aug. 19, 1 to 5 p.m., Northside Shopping Center in Oneida; (Pfizer);

Tuesday, Aug. 24, 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., County Health Department offices, 138 N. Court St.; (Pfizer)

“Over 73% of our adult population in Madison County has at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine,” the announcement said. “That is great news; however, the virus is still in our community. The best protection against COVID-19 is being vaccinated.”

“Appointments for clinics are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome,” the department announcement said.
