WAMPSVILLE — Madison County Health Department will now start offering the updated COVID-19 bivalent boosters at its immunization clinics for those eligible.

A separate pop-up Bivalent Booster clinic is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 27.

This clinic will offer both the bivalent Moderna and bivalent Pfizer vaccines for persons 12 years of age or older who (a) completed their primary vaccine series and (b) it has been two months or longer since their last COVID-19 vaccine. Online appointments are available for this clinic at www.healthymadisoncounty.org.

More clinics are scheduled in September and October for COVID-19 and other immunizations.
