LYONS FALLS — The Lyons Falls Farmers Market, sponsored by Lyons Falls ALIVE (Activities Linked In Village Effort), officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 14.

This day celebrated the 14th anniversary of the Lyons Falls Farmers Market, and the 15th anniversary of Lyons Falls ALIVE. The first 100 customers received a small flag in honor of Flag Day.

Lyons Falls ALIVE sponsors numerous other events in the community, including clean-up days, backpack programs, Halloween contests, and Black Moose kayaking.

The Lyons Falls Farmers Market will be open at Riverside Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Tuesday through Oct. 4.
