The Lowville Farmers Co-op has donated $1,000 to assist the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Lewis County 4-H program. The funds were raised during a program held during the Lewis County Fair, and the check was presented to CCE of Lewis County by Co-op Manager Leo Tabolt during the CCE board meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 8.

Tabolt said the co-op has had a long-standing relationship with Cooperative Extension and 4-H in the county, adding the organization is pleased to be able to support the 4-H youth program which is the future of county residents and future farmers in the county.
