LYONS FALLS — A Lewis County man was taken into custody very early this morning because law enforcers said he was blasting music from his vehicle in the middle of the night.

Sheriff’s deputies said they received a complaint that Cameron C. Mooney, 27, of 6820 McAlpine St., was playing extremely loud music in his driveway at 11:47 p.m., while neighbors were trying to sleep.

Responding deputies found Mooney sitting in his vehicle in the driveway with all of the doors open, blasting the music, the law enforcers said.

Deputies said Mooney initially agreed to stop playing the music, only to receive several more complaints over the next three hours that he did not stop. Deputies returned to the residence at about 3:26 a.m. and took Money into custody.

Mooney is charged with one count of disorderly conduct, a violation, authorities said. He was released on an appearance ticket to court.
