Local Favorites concert closes Park Coffee House spring season
HOLLAND PATENT — Park Coffee House will mark the end of its spring season at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 3 with a Local Favorites fundraiser concert.
The performers are all familiar to the Park Coffee House audience, and are generously donating their talent and time to benefit the coffee house and Foothills Rural Community Ministry, its parent organization.
Solo performer Alexis Loomis will bring her fine voice and signature guitar style.
Cincinnati Creek, featuring Lori Thompson, Cathy Martin, Chris Pepe and Joe Rowlands, plays an acoustic mix and always adds some humor. Rick Kincaid and Terry Schwaner, the picking and singing duo Pandemic Therapy, are returning to Park Coffee House. Fiddlebutter with Mike Carroll will perform, and others may also join in this season finale.
Before the show and during the intermission, refreshments will be available for a donation, which will benefit the Foothills Rural Community Ministry’s local food pantry. The homemade desserts are prepared by Park Coffee House volunteers and served along with the usual coffeehouse beverages.
The doors open at 7 p.m. Admission to this event is $10 or $5 for students, and no charge for children 12 and under.
Park Coffee House is located in the village of Holland Patent, just off Main Street and across from the park, in the historic Twin Churches.
Another season of concerts will begin in the fall. Details on dates and performers will be released in August.
