Libraries hosts Social Security information program

The Dunham Public Library in Whitesboro and The Frank J. Basloe Library in Herkimer will be hosting a free Social Security retirement information program for pre-retirees wanting to make a more informed claiming decision.

Seating is limited and advance registration is required.

The program will be held in Whitesboro on Monday, March 18, at 6 p.m. (call 315-736-9734), and in Herkimer on Tuesday, March 26, at 6 p.m. (call 315-866-1733).

Do you understand the new Social Security rules?

Learn how to eliminate the guesswork

How to avoid critical filing mistakes

Since 2014, the one-hour program entitled, “Social Security Made Easy” has gained wide spread recognition across the Upstate New York region in an effort to help attendees better prepare for their transition into retirement.

The program is being offered as a community service by Retirement Solutions, LLC.
