LOWVILLE — Two people have been charged after a stolen four-wheeler was found in a garage in Lewis County, according to the Lewis County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff's deputies said a 2002 Honda ATV was stolen from a residence in Lowville on May 28. An investigation led deputies to execute a search warrant on a garage on Number Four Road in Lowville on June 8, where they said they found the stolen ATV in the corner of the garage.

Jennifer S. Simpson, 29, of Number Four Road, and Jesse E. Lee, 27, no address available, are both charged with one count each of fourth-degree possession of stolen property, a class E felony, deputies said. Lee was additionally charged with one count of third-degree mischief, also a class E felony, authorities stated.

Lee was arraigned in court and was sent to county jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail, while Simpson was released on an appearance ticket for court.

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are pending.
