LETTER: Supporting Conole for freedom of choice

I’m voting for Francis Conole for Congress and I ask you to do the same. Like many, I have frustrations with our two-party system; this is the first time I’m voting only for Democratic candidates. It’s disheartening to say this, but there is only one party right now that recognizes our freedom to continue to live in a republic is at stake. It is only the Democratic party candidates who are married to a reality where we count all the votes and the winner takes office.

The opposing party has no moderate candidates. Their candidate for Congress wants to take away your right to decide if and when you have children because he is incapable of understanding how abortion is health care. He lies about abortion and states rights, but is a member of the same party as the senator who introduced a national abortion ban a week ago. We need people in Washington that will set in law the right to abortion.

I’m not empowering someone who would steal from me, my family, and everyone in my community the freedom to safely get medical care. The stakes are that high. If you’re frustrated, you should be. We can’t solve real problems, everyday issues like housing, education, work and health care, when extremists keep trying to trample our freedoms.

I’m voting for Francis Conole because he knows freedom is at stake right now.
