LETTER: Denton’s work ethic will make her an excellent judge
I write to ask for support for Julie Grow Denton, candidate for state Supreme Court justice. I was one of Julie’s English teachers at Rome Free Academy. I have taught many students over the decades, but very few of them are as memorable as Julie.
Even as a teenager, her hard work and attention to detail were notable. She was not afraid to ask questions or seek help when needed. Julie always graciously accepted constructive criticism and improved her writing skills. As a result of her efforts, Julie graduated as valedictorian.
Equally important, Julie was a friend to many. She liked and was liked by teachers and peers. I helped her practice the delivery of her graduation speech, and her remarks were designed to recognize the contributions of all her classmates. She recognizes the importance of every individual.
Since graduation, I have followed Julie’s career through college at Bucknell University, law school at Harvard, and many interesting jobs in between. I believe her intellect, work ethic, and respect for others would make her an excellent judge serving our communities. Please vote for Julie when you visit the polls this November. A vote for Julie Grow Denton is a vote for America’s future!
