Brandon Williams, the Republican candidate for Congress (22nd District), strongly supports former President Trump. There are well over 200 such candidates for various offices across the country who continue to endorse the “big lie” of a stolen election in 2020. Any candidate publicly endorsing Trump’s continuing lies deserves repudiation.

The current Republican Party largely believes in maintaining power at any price. The support of the former President’s numerous lies and often totally unqualified candidates is reprehensible. Members of Congress are required to swear to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. Those who support the insurrection should be denied ability to hold public federal office. Francis Conole, running for Congress in District 22, firmly believes the future of our constitutional republic requires full support for free and fair elections and a peaceful transition of power. I would urge all voters to support Mr. Conole in the election and oppose any Republicans who continue to support Trump and his many lies.
