Let’s have a safe holiday season

Open letter to fellow Romans:

All of us must be more careful in parking lots especially at the grocery stores, Walmart and post office.

Please use the 8- to 10-foot sidewalks. Do not walk behind cars with their backup lights on and have started to back up. We must be more cautious and aware of our surroundings and be considerate of others during this busy time of year.

Another pet peeve is, please, when a car is stopped at a red light and waiting for the arrow don’t blow your horn, The sign says no turn on red especially at the Mill and East Dominick streets intersection.

Let’s all have a safe and joyous holiday season by respecting others. Happy holidays.
