Improvements unveiled in Lee
LEE TOWN PARK UPDATES — Some of Lee Town Park’s recent new features in its northern section are shown here this week, including a shelter/break area; a paved walking trail; and cedar stack-rail fencing. The Town Board this month discussed placing signage by the shelter along with another shelter elsewhere in the park; they were funded with help from donations by the Waterman and Richie Evans families respectively. Lee Supervisor John Urtz said benches also will be placed in them. For the paved walking trail, Urtz said signage indicating no motor vehicles will be placed along it. The fencing, meanwhile, was installed last year in several locations at the park.
