STITTVILLE — Alpha Chi chapter of DKG International is hosting a lawn sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, at 7474 State Route 291 (look for signs and a large tent).

The majority of the items will not be pre-priced. Customers are asked to generously donate whatever they wish at check-out.  A wide variety of household, personal, and recreational items will be for sale, with new goods added each day. Special items and homemade baked goods, jams, pickles, and more will be sold as priced.

Delta Kappa Gamma is an international honorary society of professional women educators with the mission to “promote excellence in education and the professional and personal growth of women educators.” The chapter has a long history of service projects that have benefited numerous community organizations and their families. Each year, the chapter awards grants-in-aid to students in several area colleges who are pursuing a career in education, and scholarships to members to advance their professional growth.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will support its scholarship program, community service projects, and charitable donations.

All items have been donated by its members, so every penny raised will be a profit.
