CLINTON — Matthew Lacey of Clinton won the 42nd annual KAC Run and Walk Saturday.
Lacey, age 37, finished in 16:48.
Corey Zlatniski of Clinton was second in 17:12. Andy Ford, also of Clinton was third in 18:02.
Catherine Beck of Clinton was the top women’s finisher, fourth overall, in 18:21.
Rounding out the top five was Rob Silversmith of Boston, Mass., in 20:02.
The rest of the top 10 finishers were: John Musante of Clinton, Randolph Grant of Deansboro, Joseph DeTraglia of Clinton, Eric Kasper of Clark Mills and a 12-year-old female runner from New Hartford listed as A. French.
Damon Maldonado was the highest placing Roman, finishing in 16th in 22:23. The highest finishing female runner from Rome was an 11-year-old listed as E. Szarek, finishing in 22:32.
Musante, who is 14, won the male 19 and under category. French was the top finisher in the female 19 and under age group.
Zlatniski won the men’s 20-29 group. Sarah Beck, age 28, of Whitesboro won the age group for women.
Lacey won the men’s 30-39 group. Beck won the women’s 30-39 group.
Grant won the men’s 40-49 group. Allison Miller of New Hartford won the 40-49 women’s group.
Kasper won the men’s 50-59 group. Jeannine Macera of Oriskany won the 50-59 women’s group.
James Schreve of Clinton won the men’s 60-69 group. Julie Shankman of Clinton won the women’s 60-69 group.
Patrick Knapp of Cazenovia won the men’s 70-79 group.
