Kudos to Boonville-Oneida County Fair organizers

BOONVILLE — Kudos to organizers who have worked diligently to bring back the Boonville-Oneida County Fair — which opened today — after the 2020 event was canceled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

When David Hyatt, president of the fair Board of Directors, announced this spring that the popular fair would return it was welcome news — and not just to the area’s farmers, who get a well deserved opportunity to shine but by all of us who enjoy outstanding entertainment, midway rides, and, of course, festival food.

The 2021 Boonville-Oneida County Fair runs through Sunday, Aug. 1.
