CLINTON — Kirkland Democrats will hold a meet-the-candidates event called “Gathering on the Green” from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 at the Village Green.

Community members may come meet candidates running for office in the November elections. Attending candidates are: Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol; U.S. Congress District-22 candidate Francis Conole; State Assembly District-122 candidate Daniel Buttermann; State Supreme Court Judge of the Fifth Judicial District candidates David Murad, Christina Cagnina, John Dillon and Charles Keller; and County Clerk candidate Merima Smajic-Oren.

There will also be voter registration, in addition to music and refreshments served.
