ELMIRA — Elmira College recently announced this year’s recipients of its annual Key Award.

This year’s award was given to 761 students across 14 states and Puerto Rico. A tradition that goes back to 1935, the Key Award is presented to outstanding students in their junior year of high school or preparatory school. Local students receiving the award included:

• Kira Pegues of Lee Center;

• Jenna Yauger of Boonville;

• Connor MacArthur of Camden;

• Lillian Piersall of Camden;

• Gabriel Bellamy of Clinton;

• Angelina Borowiec of Clinton;

• Caroline Entwistle of Clayville;

• Alexandra Freytag of Utica;

• Thomas Malinowski of Yorkville;

• Jack Tamburino of Rome;

• Jessalyn Birt of Oriskany;

• Mia Mirabelli of Rome;

• Jacob Cosentino of Rome;

• Zackary Murphy of Clayville;

• Riley LaLonde of Munnsville;

• Tha Dah Mwee Kyet of Utica;

• Nadi Latt of Utica;

• Benjmain Bellinger of Sherrill;

• Jaine Paradis of Vernon;

• Arianna Robinson of Rome;

• Caitlyn Merritt of Rome;

Recipients receive an $80,000 scholarship over a four-year period, $20,000 per year, upon enrolling at Elmira College.
