UTICA/ROME — Marguerite Kershaw recently joined the Daily Sentinel staff as obituary coordinator.

As obituary coordinator, Kershaw will be responsible for helping Sentinel’s clients craft meaningful and accurate obituaries for their loved ones. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role, having worked in similar positions for several years.

Kershaw previously worked for close to 10 years as an obituary advisor at the Observer-Dispatch in Utica.

The Daily Sentinel has two offices at 111 Langley Road, Rome, and 421 Broad St., Utica.
