LEE CENTER — Kenneth Michael Rivers, 58, of Lee Center, a former longtime resident of the Millers Woods Road, Boonville, passed away suddenly in Utica, on Tuesday, July 2, 2019. He was born in Rome, on January 3, 1961, a son of Thomas Kenyon and Patricia Rivers. Ken grew up in Boonville, where he received his education at Adirondack Central School, later earning his GED. He was employed at Nash Metal and at Spargo Wire Co. both of Rome, before self-employment in small engine repair.
Ken is survived by his children, Patricia, Leslie, Brittany and Matthew; his step father, Thomas T. Kenyon, Boonville; two brothers, Kevin Duvelow,and Victor Duvelow, both of Utica; and his friends, William and Johanne Depan, Lee Center; and a longtime girlfriend, Mary Cavanaugh and her children, Trinity and Christian, of Rome and who Ken considered to be his own. Kenneth was predeceased by his mother, Patricia Rivers, in 1998.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend services on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, with interment to follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Boonville.
