Junior Frontiers to give away COVID-19 mitigation packages Saturday


UTICA — The Junior Frontiers of the Mohawk Valley has announced Phase III of the organization’s “Don’t Bring It Home” Covid 19 Mitigation Distribution program. Mitigation packages will be distributed on Saturday, Nov. 6, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the former UASCS location,
1214 Lincoln Ave.

Phase III items include and not limited to:

Bleach disinfectant wipes;

Antibacterial soap;

Cleaning spray;

Scouring powder; and

Paper towels.

The COVID-19 mitigation packages will be offered on a first-come, first-serve, according to the announcement by organization officials.

The Mohawk Valley Frontiers Club is a civic service organization, established in 1971 in Oneida County. The local chapter strives to provide the people of Utica/Rome with programs and events to uplift those in need.

The organization’s senior programs provide leadership opportunities, member fellowship and community meals to those in need while its youth program offers student trips, events, presentations, internships, shadow opportunities, and other activities for the continued development of the junior frontiers.

The Junior Frontiers motto is “Education is key and dedicated to improving the quality of life in Mohawk Valley.”
