June is National Dairy Month

It’s easy to celebrate National Dairy Month — Just pick up your favorite dairy products at your local grocery store or ice cream shop!

June was declared National Milk Month in 1937 to promote the sale of milk during the warm summer months in an effort to stabilize the supply and demand. The National Dairy Council changed the title to National Dairy Month in 1939, to include all dairy products.

The combination of the nine essential nutrients found in milk work together to positively affect your health and body systems. Nutrients such as vitamin A that promotes a healthy immune system and gives your skin a healthy summer glow! While calcium helps grow strong bones and teeth.
