Rome Community Job Fairs is hosting a “One Day Hiring Event” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19, at the Rome Alliance Church, 920 Turin St.
Over 25 employers will be present with open positions for various industries such as human services, manufacturing, healthcare, sales and more, organizers said. Whether hoping to find a fresh start, a better job, or begin your new career, this hiring event will connect job seekers and employers face-to-face, the job fair organizers added.
Employers will be offering entry-level to management positions seeking to fill full-time, part-time, and seasonal openings with interviews offered on the spot, organizers added.
Computer workstations will be present for job seekers to create/update a resume with the option to print off copies at no cost. There is the opportunity to apply to positions online after talking with a perspective employer.
