Jimmy John’s opens in Utica

A new Jimmy John’s sandwich shop located at 167 Genesee St. is now open and ready to serve gourmet sandwiches to the people of Utica.

“Opening a store in downtown Utica brings Jimmy John’s freaky fast and tasty sandwiches to a new set of customers in the area,” said owner Sal Raspante. “With our convenient delivery and new options like our Kickin’ Ranch and our 16” Giant sandwiches, no one has a reason to skip lunch anymore.”

Raspante says he plans to hire 15 employees. Anyone interested in applying can stop by the store, open daily 10:30 a.m.–9 p.m., and fill out an application.
