If you live in the library’s service area, do not have a library card and, wish to get one to use our digital services, please call us at 315-336-4570 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
“We will issue you a library card over the phone so you can access digital services. We will mail the physical card to you, which will serve as proof of address,” officials noted on the library’s facebook page.
“To deter the circulation of materials and people’s germs from library to library, no holds are being transported,” officials noted. “To prevent a build-up of holds in the queue, creating an avalanche when we re-open, the library system has suspended holds already placed on items and has removed the holds function so you cannot place additional holds.”
Jervis library has no overdue fines. “Feel better getting them back to us on time? Right now, we are accepting returns in our drive-up book drop.”
