Jervis Library to hold clearance book sale

ROME — Jervis Public Library, 613 N. Washington St., will offer a special clearance book sale during the school district’s spring break Thursday through Saturday, April 14-16. Hours for the sale will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday, April 14 and 15 in the library’s Dillon Room and fourth floor; and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 16.

Books offered for sale will be up to four for $1. DVDs and music on CD will be $1 each. Books on CD and a small selection of books for adults will be offered for free during the sale.

Library officials note that there will be a large selection of fiction, mystery, crime/social issues and history for adults, plus a stock of local interest, crafts, do-it-yourself, education, cookbooks, animals, self-help, and diet and exercise on the fourth floor book sale area.

In the Dillon Room and near the circulation desk, shoppers will find an overabundance of books for children, plus some books for teens and many boxes of paperback novels for adults as well as a selection of DVDs, music on CD, and books on CD.
