Jervis library hosts book sale

ROME — Jervis Public Library, 613 N. Washington St., will hold its annual book sale on Wednesday, Aug. 3, beginning at 10 a.m.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., starting in the library’s parking lot, Dillon Room, and Fourth Floor. After 3 p.m., the remaining items outside will be taken inside and the sale will run in the Dillon Room and on the Fourth Floor until 8 p.m.

Books offered for sale will be up to four for $1. DVDs, games, and music on CD will be offered at $1 each. A small selection of non-fiction books for adults in the Dillon Room will be offered for free during the sale.

Library officials note that there will be a large selection of fiction, mystery, and history for adults plus stock of local interest, crafts, DIY, education, cookbooks, animals, entertainment, and self-help on the Fourth Floor book sale area. In the parking lot, there will be a large selection of books for children and teens plus DVDs, music on CD, and paperback fiction for adults.

A special feature of this year’s annual book sale will be a selection of seasonal decorations priced to sell.
