Jervis hosts sun catcher, drawing workshops

ROME — Jervis Public Library, 613 N. Washington St., has announced the following events for next week:
- All week: Spring Coloring Contest
- Monday, April 3, Free children’s craft kits available; 10 a.m., Tai Chi class; 4 p.m., Maker Monday, teen program; 5:30 p.m., Drop-in Digital Literacy Assistance with Literacy CNY volunteer
- Tuesday, April 4, 6 p.m., Make a Sun Catcher, adult program
- Wednesday, April 5, 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Story Time with Ms. Emily; 5 p.m., Unplug & Play Game Night
- Thursday, April 6, 5:30 p.m., Intro to Drawing with E98 Art Studio for ages 9 and up, fundamentals of basic pencil shading and anatomy of the eye, registration required.
- Friday, April 7, 3 p.m., Free Play Friday for teens
- Saturday, April 8, 10:30 a.m., Crochet and Knitting Group
The library is open 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday; 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday; and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
