Jervis hosts Reading with a Ranger, Jigsaw Puzzle Competition

ROME — Jervis Public Library, 613 N. Washington St., has announced the following events for next week:

  • Monday, March 13, adult and children’s craft kits available; 10 a.m., Tai Chi class; 5:30 p.m., Drop-Iin Digital Literacy Assistance with Literacy CNY volunteer; 6 p.m., Ukulele Circle
  • Tuesday, March 14, 3 p.m., Teen Activity Tuesday in the Teen section
  • Wednesday, March 15, 10 a.m., Health checks by the MVHS and NAACP; 10:30 a.m., Reading with a Ranger, a ranger from Fort Stanwix will join children’s story time and educational activities; 5:30 p.m., Story Time with Ms. Emily
  • Thursday, March 16, 5 p.m., Button Art, children’s program; 6 p.m., Jigsaw Puzzle Competition, teams of 2-4 participants will race to complete a 300 piece puzzle, open to ages 13 and over, registration required
  • Friday, March 17, the library will be closed for a staff development day
  • Saturday, March 18, 11 a.m., Teen Volunteer Hours

The library is open 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday; 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday; and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
