Jervis Public Library, 613 N. Washington St., will host opportunities for patrons to receive free help with computers and technology in June.

Thursday, June 27: 2:30-4 p.m.: Drop-In Tech Help
“Drop-In Tech Help” is held in the library’s accessible auditorium and runs for 90 minutes. Sessions are for people who have questions about using their laptops, tablets, smartphones, or e-book readers.
People who have specific questions about devices such as iPhones, iPads, Android tablets, Android phones, Windows phones, Windows tablets, Nooks, Kindles, or laptops are encouraged to drop in with their devices and their questions.
Those with questions about the many digital services and resources the library offers are also encouraged to attend Drop-In Tech Help. Staff can help people learn to download library ebooks, digital audiobooks, movies, music, and magazines; check their library account; get homework help; learn a language; and use free apps such as Hoopla, Libby, Transparent Language Online, RBDigital Magazines, Bookmyne, and PrinterOn.
Registration is not required to attend Drop-In Tech Help, which is offered once a week on varying days and times depending on staff availability.
