Jack (John Joseph) Molesky

Jack passed into eternity on July 22, 2022, in his home.

He was the son of the late Harry and Albina Molesky.

Jack is survived by Bob Kloster; his brothers and their wives, Peter and Cindy, Greg and Kathleen, and Paul and Cheryl; beloved nephews and niece, Kyle, Kevin, Gregory Jr., Jason, Marcus, and Marlene Garland; dear friends, Gene and Cindy Czajkowski, Joseph Ahern and Jimmy Ortiz. He was predeceased by his nephew, Philip Molesky.

Jack graduated from Whitesboro High School, Kansas City Art Institute with a BA and Syracuse University with a MA. He was the artist at the Enchanted Forest Water Safari for 25 years.

Jack’s funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 30, at 10 a.m. at Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish (formerly the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes), Utica, and at St. Bartholomew’s Church, Old Forge, on Monday, August 1, at 11 a.m. Visitation with family will take place after each liturgy.

Words cannot adequately express our gratitude for the wonderful care given to Jack by Hospice & Palliative Care Inc., nurse, Judy Fenton; HASCA, and caregiver, Dianna Stefanko.

Jack’s final journey of life would have been unbearable without the constant presence of his brothers, their wives, and Joseph Ahern.

Donations in Jack’s honor can be made to Heath Friends, 1119 Elm St., Utica, NY 13501, HASCA in Old Forge and Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. Envelopes will be available at the Masses.

Arrangements are under the direction of McGrath, Myslinski, Karboski & Nunn Funeral Directors, 470 French Rd., Utica.
