Innovare to host ceremony for ACE Program graduates

Posted

VERONA — Innovare Advancement Center in Rome will host its Advanced Course in Engineering graduation ceremony at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, at Turning Stone Resort & Casino, 5218 Patrick Road.

Cadets enrolled in the 2022 ACE Program included 43 interns from three countries: the United States, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, who were enrolled in the 10-week long program.

Beyond academic engagement, ACE interns learn leadership skills through the weekly 8-mile run, hands-on labs, lectures, workshops, and research projects. ACE interns gain insights into planning and decision-making processes and possess outstanding self-reflection and critical analysis skills.

The operations culminate in the 56-hours Capstone event, taking place throughout the week, Aug. 9-11, where interns apply their knowledge to achieve mission objectives in a simulated cyber-warfare scenario. By the end of the 10-week program and Capstone event, the interns attend a graduation ceremony in their honor.

The ACE Values

ACE graduates inspire trust and confidence by demonstrating technical excellence in all they do. An ACE graduate leads by example and requires no exception.

Commitment: ACE graduates honor their commitments to deliver working solutions on time. An ACE graduate is always responsible and expects no extension.

Courage: ACE graduates demonstrate absolute integrity by having the courage to do the right thing. An ACE graduate makes no excuse.

Compassion: ACE graduates earn respect and loyalty by leading with compassion.

The graduation ceremony will begin with the Presentation of Colors and National Anthems of the United States, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, representing the countries of the 2022 ACE Graduates. Graduates will be presented with graduation certificates and ACE coins.

U.S. Air Force Col William E. Young Jr., commander of the 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing, will deliver the keynote address.  A formal dinner will be served immediately following the ceremony, for graduates, and their families and friends.
