A 21-year-old Rome man is accused of having inappropriate contact with a teenage girl.
Joshua Jessop, of Rome, had inappropriate contact with a 14-year-old girl in Rome, according to Inv. Christopher J. Paravati with the county Child Advocacy Center. Jessop was taken into custody on Saturday. Jessop is charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, authorities said. He was arraigned in court and is scheduled to re-appear in Rome City Court.
