HP voters can meet candidates at event

HOLLAND PATENT — A “Meet the Candidates” night for the Holland Patent Board of Education election race will be held Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the Holland Patent Middle School auditorium, 9601 Main St.

The Holland Patent Teachers Association and the local CSEA (Civil Service Employees Association) are sponsoring the event, which will be an opportunity for the community to come and hear from the candidates, said teachers association Vice President Mike Arcuri.

Vying for one available seat on the board for a five-year term beginning July 1 are candidates Kathleen Davis and Bill Paolozzi.

Davis has been an educator for 35 years, including having previously been the Holland Patent school district superintendent.

Paolozzi has been in the law enforcement field for 20 years, and is a New York State parole officer.

Kathy, you should be ashamed of yourself. You have no good intentions for doing this. You're time here is over. RIP-retire in peace and leave us alone. You think we forgot all that you did when you were here? Maybe we need to start reminding people.

I can't believe the nerve if this woman. She is self serving and all about making herself look good. Must think this will get her more work down the line. How desperate and pathetic.
