Rome Memorial Hospital will have a booth at the Downtown Market on the Griffo Green on Friday, Sept. 14 offering free blood pressure necks and health and wellness information.
Registered nurses from the hospital’s education and corporate health department will check blood pressure from noon to 4 p.m.
Additionally, there will be information on the hospital’s free community diabetes classes for type two diabetics and their families.
From 4 to 6 p.m. representatives from the hospital’s Community Recovery Center will explain the “whole-patient” approach the CRC applies to the treatment of of substance use disorder.
The representatives will also have information on the CRC’s on the Medication-Assisted Treatment Program, which assists in opioid addiction, alcohol dependence, and mental health services.
