NEW HARTFORD — The Hospice & Palliative Care Development Council will hold an Epicurean Delight Online Auction this year from Oct. 18–24.
“While we wish we could come together and taste the food from our favorite area restaurants, we ask you to “Eat, Drink and Bid from home,” said Doreen Nicholls, Epicurean Delight co-chair. “We invite everyone to join us and support the valuable hospice, palliative and bereavement services that are provided to our community by participating in this event.”
The online auction will include restaurant, jewelry, furniture, household and family packages. Items can be viewed beginning Monday, Oct. 18, at noon and the online auction will close on Sunday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m.
Participants can text EPIC2021 to 76278 or go to EPIC2021.givesmart.com and follow the prompts to register for the auction, bid on items, buy raffle tickets or make a donation. The raffle is $5 per ticket and enters individuals into a drawing for a $500 Visa Gift Card and other prizes valued over $100.
The Raffle Drawing will take place on Monday, Oct. 25, at noon and winners will be posted to the hospice Facebook page and website at www.hospicecareinc.org. There is still time to donate gift certificates, prizes or a raffle basket to the raffle or auction, organizers said, adding that those wishing to donate should call 735-6487, ext. 1004.
