HOME IS WHERE THE HEARTH IS — Kierstin Bratge keeps warm by the fire in the German Room at Fort Stanwix National Monument on Saturday night. Dozens of historic re-enactors gathered to share what the holidays were like in the Mohawk Valley during the 18th century as part of Fort Stanwix’s annual Holiday Open House.
